No connection between the Arena and the Ring

Scenario #1: I have previously made a connection but now I’ve lost it

If you’ve managed a connection but have then lost it the main objective is to get time and space to reconnect. The best opportunity for this is at the next scheduled break.

Assuming that you have already troubleshooted your connection then turn this into a learning exercise.

  1. Explain exactly what has happened to the best of your ability
    1. Share the pre-work we’ve done to identify and mitigate such issues
    2. Share that this exercise itself was planned for
  2. Ask questions
    1. As a participant how does this make you feel?
    2. What are the risks you potentially face with your current projects?
    3. What have you done (or could you do) to mitigate those risks?
  3. Get members to work on their project cards
  4. Go to break

Once you’ve gone to the break call or text Sunny on 0476 033 672 to let Simon know.

 

Scenario #2: I have not been able to make a connection at all

If you’ve been unable to make a connection at all then the key objective is to not waste peoples time unnecessarily

Assuming that you have already troubleshooted your connection then

  1. Explain exactly what has happened to the best of your ability
    1. Share the pre-work we’ve done to identify and mitigate such issues
    2. Share that the plan is now to reschedule the session at the earliest possible convenience and that Simon will fly across to deliver the session personally
    3. Apologise and let them know that Sunny will be in touch this afternoon to schedule an alternative time.
